French knitter since 1940

A family journey through the time

Depuis 1940et le temps défile

The family workshop was founded in 1940 in a small village in the center of France, Les Villettes. Jean-Marie Bonnefoy, the founder, manages the company's activity towards knitwear, producing more specifically girdles and garter belts.

His son, Marc, takes over the management in 1972, after graduating from the Diderot textile school in Lyon.

Thanks to this technical textile expertise, he perpetuates the knitwear know-how and develops a fashion accessories collection. A new chapter begins and the company then takes on an international dimension by selling its products worldwide.

Au fil des générations

Chloé Bonnefoy, the current director, is thus the third generation at the helm of the company.

The experience passed down by her father is an additional strenght: complementing each other with their different skills, Chloé and Marc worked together to drive the company forward.

Maison Bonnefoy's brand was thus created in 2015. A brand offering knitted accessories for Fashion and Home, 100% made in France from quality materials from France and Europe (Italy and Germany mainly).

Tout est fait en interne : nous maitrisons tout le processus de production pour proposer à nos clients des produits qui répondent parfaitement à leurs besoins.
